How to make a triangle ring

i try extrude by face, but it does not work
follow me tool, does not work.
is there any other tool , can bend a long cylinder into triangle shape?

The reason it didn't work is because it was so tiny. SketchUp won't make the tiny faces required. Scale the model up by a factor of a 100 or more, run Follow Me and scale back down.
