Cameras inside models

I am having trouble getting an interior camera view of my model. I have a model of a residential house and when I get a camera in the position I want I only see a small portion of the model. I am looking to make the view more like what I would see if I where standing in the room. Is there a plugin, setting or something else I could use? I have already tried the 'advanced camera' plugin but that's not working for me. Help!

Most probably your field of view is too narrow for an interior. Press the Z button (shortcut) and hold the Shift key. Now press the left mouse button and move it up/down to change the FOV. A wide angle will allow you to export some more portion of an enclosed area.
