SU quits often?

I use SU daily at work and it quits at least once a day if not more often, I'm on a mac using the latest OSX.
I disk repair often and update, so has anyone any ideas? I was thinking of uninstalling SU and reinstalling although I would like to try some fixes first.

This happens all the time, especially(more likely) if you are using many plugins . I tought myself to save before using some plugins that I know they may be unstable .
Last time it crashed because of a simple copy/paste and some erasing operations. I had to think backwards and explode some groups and components .So, it may not be anything wrong with your system or hard drive , but reinstalling it won't do harm . IMO
I know not a program that is this unstable !! But I like it and need it !

Having used both Mac and PC with SketchUp, I still feel the Mac version is way more glitchier than the PC. This also really depends on the video card. The dreaded NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M in the older MacBook pro with its blackout issues is a real winner.

I too find the my PC version is more stable than my mac.
Set your autosave up and create back ups.
If it persists on a particular model copy the geometry to a blank model, that helps on my mac.
