Help! Can't find Layout Folder!
-
Hi All,
I can't find my LAYOUT folder on my Mac. I saw a previous thread where it was suggested to go to:
HD:Users:Library:Layout:Templates...etc
On my system this is what I have:
Macinstosh HD: Users: Shared Folder or 'My Name' folder with the house icon.
If I click on 'My Name' folder I have many folders to choose from such as Desktop, Documents, Pictures, etc. but no option for 'Library'.
I have a presentation for work this afternoon and need to access the templates folder in the Layout
folder ASAP.
Thanks in advance! -
On My Mac it's under /Users/My Name/Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 8/Layout/Templates.

For some reason I don't have a library folder in my 'my name' folder????

I figured it out. For some reason the library folder was hidden. I opened the 'terminal' application and typed in: chflags nohidden ~/Library
That did the trick! It now shows up under the 'my name' folder. Hmmm. -
The users library folder is hidden in Lion, in finder window go to view drop down menu at the top under GO hold the option key down and it will show.
