Newbie Saying Hello

Hello all,
I have been using Sketchup for several years now and just jumped into the Pro version shortly before the Trimble acquisition, and now on this forum http://forums.sketchucation.com/posting.php?mode=post&f=79#
My main use is for architectural design and possibly construction documents using Layout. Secondary applications are product design and possibly wood working.
I look forward to gleaning info from this talented and varied array of users in the Sketchup community. I also hope to, at some point (maybe even soone) be as helpful to others as many of you have been to me.

Let me be the first to welcome you Dave...there are alot of talented sketchup users here both for modeling and construction documentation...

He he, I have similar hopes - but whoa, these guys are just so damned good! I often wonder how they found the time to model and program scripts so skillfully, when they also seem to always be here ready with the answers to all our problems - I am very concerned that Google/Trimble may be involved with some sort clandestine CAD-monkey cloning program!
