Hi, I desperately wanted to export a model as Acad DWG or DXF, but the free version only supports Google Earth.
Does anyone know if the Pro version makes this possible?
      Thanks,

      Rob

Yes, the SketchUp 8 Pro will export both 2D and 3D DXF and DWG files as well as many others. It sounds like you're ready to upgrade.

          Hi, Rob:
First of all, I see by your profile you use Sketchup v6 free(or maybe pro).
In Sketchup 6, 7, or 8 click File>Export>GetPro3DExporters. A web page will pop up to describe capabilities of Free and Pro. This may provide some insight.

Edit: I wanted to add this link as a possible alternative. You decide.
