You must draw line then curve (or arc...), then line, etc.
At the end merge them with this indispensable plugin : Weld

Is beautiful that please without concept!

Thank you guys for the suggestions. The model needs to be in sketchup to be viewed by others. I'm an acad user 2d-3d so I did most of my models in autocad, then xref to max or sometimes export to other program. The model is basically a site from dwg and I'm trying to find a way to quickly raise the pavements, islands, etc. in sketchup. I draw lines, triangulate, scratch head trying to find where are the breaks along the lines waiting for sketchup to make faces then either remove or soften where necessary. Anyways, I 'boundary' in acad most of the areas to be raised, poly where I know acad won't extrude. Brought the model in sketchup, add materials and that's it.

The more specific the question and the more informative the subject line (RE: hello!), the happier the outcome, all things being equal, maybe.
