The dimensions do not change

hello. When I change the file in sketchup, layout 3 reflects these alterations, but the existing dimensions do not reflect those changes, even with ob.snap on. This situation is normal or do something wrong?

Thanks Dave R. Do not is information that I expected, but so is confirmed another limitation of the LO3, and works to almost starting from zero.
