LayOut crashing when exporting to PDF

Hi -
I'm trying to export a layOut file to PDF however the program keeps crashing on me when I attempt to do this (or try to print)I have render and output both set on High Quality.
Running Mac OS 10.6.8

I was able to export pages 2-12 on High Quality and the cover image/photo on Medium and then combine the pdfs.

Do you need it on high quality? The reason I ask, is that I tested both medium and High printed to 24x36 paper. The high while a little crisper, takes twice as long to export PDF, especially on a 12 page document. If you need the High quality, try printing only 4 pages at a time. I print all my CD's at medium level and they are fine in quality.

It's just the first page that crashes my Mac every time, except on "medium". Also crashes on "Print". Other pages seem fine at any quality. Maybe it's the image itself that could be brought into LO in a different format (I assume it is a graphic output of a renderer).
