Is there any chance or "converter" that sketchup can import .max formats?
I have most of them (.max), so I'm looking for a help πŸŽ‰

      Thanks,

      Nino

sorry no.. the only real converter for MAX is Max itself. the way it stores model information, (the various modifiers), means it has to be converted by Max. Even the various 3D converter programs need Max installed to do the conversions..

what you can do tho, is to install the trial of Max and you'll have 30 days to convert the files to something like DAE (Collada) that SU can import...

Khai is right. Nothing, absolutely nothing will import, convert or even open a Max file unless you have Max itself installed. Even top of the range converters like Deep Exploration will look for Max first...and if they can't find it, they won't play.

            Well, I was "hopeless" πŸ˜†
Anyway, thanks guys for the advice to me.
Someday I will install my 3ds Max 2012. I just left it zipped because I'm still not using it (that I'm using Sketchup)
            😒
