      Hi,

I have an object that I need to place flush onto the face of a surface that is angled. How do I copy the angle of the surface onto the object that I want to place onto it?

      Regards,

Make your object a component , check "glue to" choose any then create.
Now open window/component check home ( the little house) and pick your component.
Note that glue to only works if you pick your component from the component window.

For simple move and rotate operations...especially aligning one object with another...check out the skp file in this thread.

            Thanks for your replies guys,

The 'make a component' resolution managed to do the trick although it was tricky getting the axes correct in order for the object to attach to the surface with the correct orientation.

            Thanks again.
