Sketchup Pro on Ebay

I think I'll give it a shot too. Hopefully not a scam or ripped off licenses. The headache saved by the available export/import options are worth it.
So how did it go?

I don't know about licensing terms for SU pro, but a lot of software specifically prohibits resale... just FYI.

This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the benefit of the Services as provided by Google, in the manner permitted by these Terms and Conditions. You may not (and you may not permit anyone else to) copy, modify, create a derivative work of, reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Software, unless this is expressly permitted or required by law, or unless you have been specifically told that you may do so by Google, in writing. Unless Google has given you a specific written permission to do so, you may not assign (or grant a sub-license of) your rights to use the Software, grant a security interest in or over your rights to use the Software, or otherwise transfer any part of your rights to use the Software.
write google and ask for permission to make it binding & legal. if you ask permission you're a good guy acting in good faith as you are by posting this in this forum.
hope it works out well for you. that's a sweet deal.

That's just one of the many things companies throw into the legalize hoping that everyone will take it at it's face value. It has been been repeatedly fought, and won, in the courts. They cannot, once you purchase something, prohibit you from reselling it. It's yours, you bought it.

Haven't heard anything yet.

Got a reply this morning and installed. License installed and is working fine. Sure is nice to see those export/import options and the solid tools!

I have bought four of the Pro licenses, and will make them available to anyone who wants one.
I figured it was only a matter of time before someone would start buying them up just to resell them on Ebay for 2 or 3 times the amount they paid for them, plus maybe somebody here wanted one but did not have an Ebay account.
Anyhow, I will provide them for just the amount I paid for them. I got them for 90 dollars each. I only ask that if you buy one it's for your own use, not to resell for profit.
If you want one, let me know. It will be on the honor system. I will PM you with the Serial and Activation codes. Just download the Pro Version from Google, install it, and use the codes to activate it. Once you are satisfied that it is activated, then you can pay me. I prefer PayPal, but if you do not have an account there I can PM you my address and you can send me a check.
I can maybe get more if there's a demand.
First come, first served, so let me know if you want one.(I'm also posting this in a separate thread)

I just asked him about that, and he said they were purchased from Google...
the supplier can be evaluated by the last 3 digits of the serial no with the last digit representing the platform (W/m = Windows/Mac).

You are a reseller, Norbert, aren't you?

Well, mine looks like still @Last (ALW)

Huh, last 3 alpha characters are MSM. Looks like a Mac license? Works fine on Win 7...

If they are not authorized codes, how did they activate the program? These licenses were from a company that bought them at the enterprise level, might they not have different codes than a license bought at the individual user level?
-
There are two things there. Serial numbers and auth codes. You need to look at the serial number (that can be seen under Help > License > License info - notice that the auth code is not there)

Yes, I know...

So when he said "serial no not auth. code", he was saying "serial no, not authorization code"?
I thought he was saying "serial no not authorized code"

Serial no as No. or # (for number or "
N
umero
") -

So Steve, what you bought had both serial numbers and authorization codes?

No. They had serial numbers and activation codes.

This is beginning to sound like an Abbott and Costello routine
