If you change the style (and hidden line is a face style setting), you need to update your style and scene before it takes effect in LO (in your style dialog, when you change a style, there will be two circular arrows which you need to press to update it).

If you only want one scene (which will be one inserted viewport in LO) to have this style, make sure to have the corresponding (and updated) style assigned only to this scene (there can be several styles in your SU model)

Then save our SU model, in LO, select the proper scene (not "last saved..."), right click on the model and "Update reference"

      Gai...

As stated above, you need to save a scene with hidden lines shown, make sure the scene is updated to reflect the hidden lines, then save the SU file. Then in layout update the reference, select the same scene and render. It will show the hidden lines. If the scene selection is set to "last saved", then it will not work. Select the same scene from the SU model that you updated prior to the last save.
