i want display my view as hidden lines ------- i go into my sketchup model and set styles as hidden lines but i don't see in layout any change why?</p>

<p dir="auto">As stated above, you need to save a scene with hidden lines shown, make sure the scene is updated to reflect the hidden lines, then save the SU file.  Then in layout update the reference, select the same scene and render.  It will show the hidden lines.  If the scene selection is set to "last saved", then it will not work.  Select the same scene from the SU model that you updated prior to the last save.</p>

<p dir="auto">If you only want one scene (which will be one inserted viewport in LO) to have this style, make sure to have the corresponding (and updated) style assigned only to this scene (there can be several styles in your SU model)</p>
<p dir="auto">Then save our SU model, in LO, select the proper scene (not "last saved..."), right click on the model and "Update reference"</p>
