Sketchucation Books ordering problems

Tonite I decided to check out the Sketchucation Books to see if I wanted to buy some more, and decided there were five more that I wanted. During this process I encountered several areas that, IMO, could be improved. First, as it stands now you have to purchase and pay for each book individually, which means logging into PayPal (always an unnecessarily slow process in itself), changing my payment method from my checking account to credit card (something I prefer to do, and which PayPal will not let me set up to use automatically), waiting for another screen to tell them that, yes, I do indeed want to use my credit card, etc, etc, and finally getting to pay for my purchase. I then get redirected to supposedly download my book, only to consistently get the following msg.
So I then have to check my emails and use the link provided to finally download my book.
Is there any way to provide boxes with each available book so that you can check each one you want, and then go to PayPal one time to pay for them?
And why do I always get that error message?
As it stands now I have only downloaded two of the five I want and will probably get the other three later. But I can imagine others, maybe someone new to SU wanting to buy a lot of them, only to get frustrated and give up given the amount of time it is taking.
Don't get me wrong, I think these publications are great, I'm learning a lot from them. I just would like to see the process streamlined if at all possible. -

steps to reproduce the error -- not sure what you mean by this. I clicked on a publication, went to PayPal, paid for it (eventually), and when I click on "Get Your Downloads", I get the error msg. (I just bought another one, same results, except this time it took quite awhile to get the email so that I could download the thing)
Actually, for me, the error msg is secondary to the problem of having to pay for each publication individually. Not an earth-shattering issue, but it will become more of a factor as the number of publications increases
