3dconnecion mouse not working with sketchup

I am a noob to sketchup, i have all actual versions and drivers:
sketchup 8 pro, 3dconnexion 3.15.2 with SpacePilot 4.05.I dont know how to activate my 3d device to work with sketchup. It works fine with all my other applications, like solidworks or rhino3d.
I already reinstalled the driver. I know it should work. I need some help, thanks in advance. -
I had a similar problem recently. My instinct was to uninstall and reinstall the driver, but I couldn't do that.
In the end I installed the new beta driver. I was then able to uninstall the old driver and the new one was automatically loaded into Sketchup.

The solution for my problem was reinstalling the Driver again and then use the customized installation, here i was able to activate the sketchup drivers.
