Hey guys, I'm wondering how best to make 2D people masks... see attached image [not mine]

      wheel-chair-without-a-chair3.jpg

Most times I want to use the human form to show context with a model and so if I find a photo I can use I want to be able to rip it apart and trace the boundaries, make face and KA-POW!!

      Any hack?

If the image of 'the person' is a PNG file with a transparent background [which is easy done in Gimp/Photoshop etc] then use my ImageTrimmer tool to do the 'cutout'.
Find it in the Plugins Index...
Be sure to read the instructions - it needs Java enabling on your PC et...
There are several posts in its thread covering troubleshooting its installation AND your image settings etc...

Thanks TIG, I'll look it up in the morning. I expected that creating a transparent background would be the norm but then how would you do the line work inside? Not freehand i assume....

I'm conscious of how SU handles curves as segments so I don't want to end up with heavy line work for such a thing.....

          Cheers,
