Designer's Block

No seriously. I have one crazy designer's block. I can't even remember how to make a sphere.
I've thought about doing one of the tutorials from here, but I can't get worked up about it.
Eventually it will pass. But it's really bugging me.
Any suggestions?

Make two circles at right-angles to each other in 3d.
Use one circle as the path and the other circle as the face in a followme... sphere
