Architecture in Components Browser
-
Is anyone else seeing 0 results for the Architecture component catalog in Sketchup? I am seeing it on two computers (in different locations)

Just checked, not seeing any default results. I was looking for people and found nothing (without going into the entire 3dwh search) either.

Ok, so it's not just me, that's what I suspected. Right now I have a browser window open and I am just dragging the components in that way... It's been this way for a week or so now...

I have never been able to get the component browser to work correctly. It always defaults to pointing at the default component pack (which is both useless and I don't use) despite my component path being set properly. I always have to open/create new component directory, or whatever. That works until for that model, but resets for the next. Also, why can't you just browse through directories? You can't even access a parent directory -- only go back to it if you originally came from there.
I'm sure it's something simple like setting up my template correctly, but I've never gotten around to it. It seems like basic functionality that every other program uses -- I get the impression they went out of their way to make it less useful and I don't understand why.

Ok, I am also having issues with some of "My collections" that are saved on my 3D warehouse account. When I pull them up in Sketchup, some them are listed, but no, or very few models show up when I select them. If I go in through the browser, they are all still there....

Some other reports of same issue. https://groups.google.com/a/googleproductforums.com/forum/#!search/author:me/sketchup/QYI9Gd4a9Zk/NPp3ExC7eXEJ

I just sent off a blog post about it: http://ow.ly/8SuDm
Hopefully it gets some attention, on a PC it's not so bad to have to use a web browser, on the Mac it's a pain to have to download every model that you want onto your desktop!!

Hi all, it seems that the developers are already aware of the issue.

Thanks! I hope they get this worked out soon, I'm stuck modeling on my PC only!
