Might anyone know if there's a current bug on scroll wheel function?
Yesterday, scroll wheel did what I should.. zoom and orbit while holding the wheel down. Today, only zoom.

      Rebooted.. no change

No SketchUp bug related to the scroll wheel. It would be helpful to know what kind of mouse you have.

Mice fail. Could be that yours has. Could be that the center mouse button function has been reassigned. Did you load driver software for the mouse? Did it download an update recently that might have changed a setting? Have you another mouse you could try?

It's a logitech duo comfort wireless mouse/keyboard combination.. older model but just out of the box 2 months ago (backstock of favorite keyboard when it got discontinued)
and yes.. I think I might have gotten a software update over night... hmmm checking that now
thanks for bring that up.. I'm a little low on caffene and the obvious just didn't flash at me. 😳

            'salright.

If I remember correctly, it might be that the center mouse button should be assigned to Button 3. I read that someplace. I've had two different Logitech wireless mice and several others over the years. Never installed the driver software for any of them and they've always worked until I wore them out. Or inadvertently drop tested that wireless mouse to destruction.

found the drivers.. uninstalled (with cCleaner since their uninstallers wouldn't initialize) and all is well. Sorry to bring a non sketchup issue in and thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

No worries. Actually it is kind of a SketchUp thing anyway.
