We've been seeing the "Northern Lights" in Northumbria [England!] over the last two nights - I've never seen them here before; I did once in Northern Scotland, but that was loooong ago [just after the last Ice-Age

You need to be out of the city to avoid 'light-pollution' !
Tonight will be cloudy/sleety here - so I expect that's it for another few decades !
This was predicted last year, as these solar 'burps' do follow known cycles...
Presumably up in the Arctic Circle they'll be extra special at the moment ?
