Is there a plugin that would hide a selected line/edge permanently, so it is only visible in hidden geometries and when you press unhide all it wont reappear? (Something that soften edges does, but unfortunately it cant do it to all edges and lines.

      Thanks all πŸ˜„

      Edit: Solved

        #Select the edge(s)
        #right-click / entity infos
        #check soften smooth or hidden.

          Unhide should not unhide it?

I don't know... You could hide the edge by hiding the layer it's on. Though then it won't appear when you enable Hidden Geometry. But maybe that's something that will work? Do you use layers much when you work? I ask because I see many people just Hide/Unhide instead of managing visibility by layers.

Unhide>All will unhide hidden edges if they are in the same context as the stuff you do want to unhide. The solution would be to enclose those hidden lines and perhaps the rest of the of its connected geometry in a group or component. With those edges hidden and in a group or component, you can only unhide them if the group or component is open for editing.

You haven't given us an example of what you're actually doing but perhaps you would find it better to make the groups or components and use Layers to control their visibility.

Basicly its one big model, no components and no groups, and im just trying to hide a few lines permanently because they ruin the presentation and even confuse me sometimes. Im still progressing with the model.

Well, that pretty well answers the question, then. Now you have the solution but if you choose not to put those lines in another context, you'll be stuck with them unhiding whenever you use Unhide>All. Smooth will make them disappear but it isn't the same as hiding them.
