.mat files in vray for SU

Hi guys,
Is it possible to get the .mat files from vraymaterials.de to work with vray from sketchup? When I try to import material, vray4SU looks for .vismat files. If I cant import .mat files, are there any good libraries for .vismat files. I am looking for a reflective chrome and realistic water material.

If you log on the ChaosGroup website, there's a whole section of downloadable materials for VfSU, including chrome and water materials.
