For use the animation functions of Onshape just export from Moi in Step format!
(you can of course animate in SU after export in SKP fromat from Moi , but that will be not Nurbs format ! )Upload the .step file, Translate in Onshape format et voilΓ !

I am only using MOI for 3D printing projects, so I don't need Rhino....I got tired of trying to make SU do what I wanted. Even just simple intersections/booleans were sending me crazy.
I will surely be frequenting the forum with LOTS of questions haha!
