Hey guys, I have not posted much recently even though I have done a ton of new works, here is a NPR of a project I just completed (clients version is photo real render) I just thought the scene looks better as NPR.

Although I'm not a big fan of NPR, I would use #2 for this. FWMOIW

Roberto, NPR = Non Photo Realistic.

Pete, looking back at the title on this thread, when I first saw it I got excited thinking you were giving a clinic on NPR methods. One can hope.

LOL Eric - When I saw "NPR Clinic" I thought that was the name of the building...I have been working on something called "NRH Recreation" for too long!

The things that bother me about #1 relate to the canvas texture. If you use it, ti should be equally evident in the sky. And the texture is most evident in the face of the building where you would expect brick and that texture just happens to be close to brick size. So for me, there is less visual ambiguity in #2.

I really dislike the canvas texture in 1.
Try using a watercolor paper texture. (if your not trying to simulate oil on canvas.)

I like tones in the first one, but the canvas is a too strong.

I would consider them both NPR but I like the 2nd one better.

Pack B???? when is this going to be available. I use your other pack all the time.

Great images by the way. If I had to choose. Id go for the second one

Exaggeration makes a dull story better.

First things first, from my point of view, and I know this is not what was asked,I think the composition is perfect. Its an example of how to show a building. Its not just plonked down on a horizon line with something to the left and something to the right. Its a brilliant example of placing a building in its environment.
From the images,I would go for the second option but with the texture from the road in the first. After that,it works amazingly well.
