Easy rounded rectangles only with 'Pro' version?
-
Hi all,
I am trying out the Sketchup free version. I am looking for how to do rounded rectangles. I found this:

But that is with the 'Pro' version.
So do I understand from this that rounded rectangles can only be easily done with the 'Pro' version?
Thanks,
avraham

What you are looking at is referring to LayOut which is an application that only comes with the pro version. It isn't drawing rectangles with round corners in SketchUp, though.
You can draw them in SketchUp free the same way as you would draw them in SketchUp pro. You draw a rectangle and the use the Arc tool to add the round overs. There's a tool in TIG's 2D tools that makes it quick but this is a basic excercise in SketchUp and one should know how to do it manually.
