Export to DWG as lines

I just tried to export a layout page to DWG - hoping to get a 2D DWG with lines. But instead I got bitmap images inserted into the DWG.
Is there any way to export a page as proper lines? -
In LO, select the SU viewport and in the side bar, under the SU model panel (which now becomes active), switch to vector rendering mode. (Raster is raster - you know the difference)
