Never more kill Sketchup. That's my desire.

Plugins should have some kind of possibility to cancel its activities, because sometimes they take too long time to finish his task, and we have no time to wait for their tasks be completed. Or maybe they can provide some warning on how long time it will take their job. It is very sad to have to kill sketchup and lose precious work.

It is very difficult to implement is the only problem. And by "very difficult" I almost mean impossible. There are a few programmers who have added some sort of support for it, but it is challenging to do. It would be great if Google could make it possible so we could all just implement their method.

Yea, I wish we could do that. I've been trying to lobby for a way to have a responsive progressbar and cancel button in SU. Still hoping for it.
Many hours has been spend by good plugin authors trying to find a good solution for this. But when it comes to it, it's something that needs to be built into SU in order to make the UI responsive.
