      Hi All,
I haven’t been around for a long long time….and am not up to speed with all the great plug-in's that have been coming out! I usually do things the hard way…. And what I am attempting is a bit complex, so I was hoping someone could give me a bit of advice on how to attack this problem so I don’t spend months of labor only to realize I did things totally wrong and have to do it all over again!
I am attempting to attach all these individual roof pod units so the roof looks like one continuous form. Just like the clay model image attached. Is there any ideas on which plug-in / method might help me model this organic roof form efficiently?
      Thanks! Matte

It the moment your approach isn't even fully roofing over the intermediate cylinders...
I think you need to make some simple grouped 'flat' outlines in plan for the overall roof 'eaves' - around the 'pods' and between them...
Presumably the pod roofs are common to all and therefore easy enough to form a plan outline from...
Then you can see what it is and isn't covered.
Then you can add 'ridge lines' over the top of each 'pod'.
The zigzag roof you have so far attempted looks like it runs out oddly - as the pods' locations are not conducive to it...
Although 3d modeling is obviously wonderful, sometimes a quick sanity check using a 2d plan will show up holes in the logic...
Perhaps you need to approach it from the direction of a zigzag roof that works, with the pods then located below it to suit; rather than trying to cludge a single roof over them as they are set out now. It hints that maybe a different roof-form over the whole lot would be more sensible IF the pod layout can't change...

            Thanks Solo and TIG,
I will play around with both your suggestions. I know in my head how it will be done, I just needed a visual skin over the form as in the original clay study. And best of all I have a good reason to purchase artisan!!!!
Thanks again for all your help.
