It's almost time for World cup rugby, I'm so looking forward.
So... who will win?

I know we have a bunch of French, Aussies and New Zealanders here so this could get ugly.
I'm betting on South Africa, but cannot bet against the All Blacks at home, then we have the French that get better as the tournament progresses, Australia again are also a formidable force.
I'd like to say something about the Irish, but got nothing....
I just watched both Japan and Canada destroy the USA in friendly's so I can write them off in getting past first stage

I do know the Boks haven't a hope of winning. Club rugby is experiencing a downturn and the national side is fractured and full of egos. They're going for a holiday, we're going for silverware.

LOL, Boks are solid, always going for gold.
Ireland deserve to win, they do play hard, the world cup has eluded them forever, one thing that can be said is that this is rated as the best Irish squad in a long time, so who knows maybe with enough Blarney stone kissing and leprechaun stroking y'all might even make it to the semi's.

Well, the Aussies couldn't handle our pack. Great scrums, solid defence and forced a lot of penalties. It was a great match.

You should have seen Auckland city after that game. IT HAD TURNED GREEN. Loads of your country men out onthe town.

South Africa v Australia
Ireland v Wales
New Zealand v Argentina
Interesting that both the northern and southern hemispheres are represented equally. And will have teams in the final. But who?

Yeah, that match up does look rather sinister and planned, equally represented yet seperate, forcing a north vs south final.
I'm very concerned that my boks are not gonna defend their title, Australia may be more than they can handle right now.
I believe Ireland should progress into Semi's and the All blacks are a no brainer.
England vs France is gonna be a great game, as well as SA vs Australia too difficult to call.

Not sure about beating the Welsh. They're a quality side with a lot of talented youths.
Injuries are key from here on in too. Aussie backline are missing some experienced heads.
Commentators here say it'll be England v New Zealand final. I want Ireland v South Africa

Actually the Ireland Wales match was very deflating. Wales just too energetic and had skilled player in every position. Ireland couldn't keep with the pace of the Welsh. Well done Wales a deserved victory
As for England, they looked like they might make a comeback in the second half but a late surge from the French kept them quiet.
