It's earlier days. I find it much zippier. Definitely on startup. Still better than that pile of dung Chrome

I am still on FF 3.6 (until all my plugins are updated and someone brings my statusbar back)

It does seem must faster... there is also an 'add-on bar' too, which might do ?
