I intend to build an extension and need to submit 2D plans to my local council [Greenwich, UK]. Using Sketchup, I can’t find anything like the components /materials, such as cavity wall, single brick wall, door, window etc., that can be found in a cad package. I am interested in johntwiname’s post, Construction & Working Drawings where he has submitted plans of a 6 storey building done on SU. I look forward to when he can share the information, as I want to avoid forays into new programs & keep costs to a minimum.
