Thanks for sharing Dave! this is useful.. I've downloaded it already! thanks a lot! But i'm still looking for a more tropical look frangipani tree.. Anyway thanks a lot dude!
-
The tree you are looking for is pretty unique for this forum, tried a Vietnamese SU forum yet?
How about using a Oleander tree, they seem pretty close.
-
Thanks for sharing solo! haven't tried Vietnamese SU Forum yet, but I'll give it a try.. The tree you shared is good, but my client is really strict about landscapes that's why i'm really looking for an exact model of it.. Anyway thanks for dude!

There's this model available from Turbo Squid:
www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/max-tree-frangipani/569224
It's a bit high poly, but SU should just about cope.

Thanks Heiru for the link! I already saw this model, but the thing is you'll have to purchase it. I'm looking for free downloads only:D
Thanks again for replying and sharing.. it's highly appreciated..

Are you going to use this tree in a render or in SU...?
-
I'll use it in a render, in Vray for SU. that's why i'm looking for a model which is closer to the real thing.. do you have a link or can you share a model of it if you have? thanks a lot in advance dude!

Although my knowledge about VfSU is limited, I assume that you still need a high-poly model imported into SU, hence the reason why you can't use the 3D models available at http://www.turbosquid.com...?!
What about photoshopping it into your final render in post pro...??

BTW... Couldn't resist...
Please try >> this <<As you'll see it will return various search results, which you might find handy...
Have you seen the SU model available at FormFonts...?? -
Whoah! you have loads of links here dude! thanks for sharing! but how can I log in formfonts without subscribing on it? Im trying to register but some of the items ask for billing accounts. Im looking for free models. Thanks again dude! you're really a big help here in sketchucation!

Well, subscribing (and paying) is the way to become a member so that you can log in and finally download there.
Frankly, I also like freebies. But if a client wants something that is not accessible as a freebie, there are two solutions:
- you purchase the pay item and charge the client with the extra cost if you can (especially if he is so picky then he should pay for it)
- you purchase the pay item hoping that you can use it in the future, in other projects, too and consider it as an "investment"
If you often work for clients with such extra wishes, it may be worth subscribing to FF. They have nice, high quality stuff there so it could make a nice turnover after a while as your work would be more quality, too.
