Hi... I am experienced in Sketchup, but theres one thing that kills me: Section Cuts
i've seen a couple plugins, I searched on videos on youtube, quite a few forums and google help but i just cant find out how this guy was able to make this line weight that I will show you.

In a section cut, plan or vertical, he manages to keep the "closer" line darker than the further one. line Weight 101, I know, but i just dont know how to do that!

you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YAiDatANQo&feature=related (minute 2:12 you can see clarly what i mean at the stairs)

Cuz is such a basic stuff for drawing yet i cant find anyone teaching it, so it cant be easy, and even in other great tutorial videos there is no lineweight like that for what is closer and what is further
Is it a button, is it in styling edition, must i create a full new style in style builder?

My teacher said "hey, i cant differ which door here or step or whatever is closer than the other one.

I hope you understand my doubt, i am desperate.

Thanks, and SORRY if this same problem once appeared, I searched it for a couple hours but i couldnt find specifics and I have to deliver this stuff on next wednessday!

cheers, any help is deeply profund appreciated.

hmm.. i think the occurrence at 2:12 is more of a visual glitch caused by the screen recording software then being uploaded/viewed on youtube (as in, i doubt that's how it looks on his screen)..

fwiw, here's another video showing him preparing the cuts for layout.. towards the end of the video, he shows his different style settings

        .
