Plugins dont work on a MAC
-
Hi,
I use sketch Up 8 Pro and Mac OSX 10.6.7. I am unable to use any plugins. (projection toolbar, for example) I have installed them in the right place, but they don't seem to work. Am I doing something wrong, or they are just incompatible? COuld any Mac user give me some help?
PS:I am new here, not sure wether this is the right place to post my problem.

Welcome to SCF. You say you installed them in the right place but where did you install them? Have you been into SketchUp>Preferences>Extensions and ticked the check boxes? Did you start SketchUp after installing the plugins?

I installed them @ HD/Library/Application Support/Google Sketchup 8/Sketcup/Plugins.
And yes I ticked the boxes and all I can see is Cost & Modelon the Ocean Floor.
I tried seceral others besides projection toolbar which i really need to use. Do you think its the specific plugin that is incompatible? Suggestions to install any other that works for you?THnx

HD/Library/Application Support/G SU8/Su/Plugins, isn't this the right path?
Yes, I have tick the boxes and restarted, but I only see Cost & Model on the Ocean Floor under MENU PLUGINS. What do you think? is it the projection toolbar, I ve tried several others too. -
What about under View>Toolbars? Is the toolbar available to check?

I cant believe it, it is right there...
Thank you very much Dave -
My pleasure.
