[Plugin] Sketchup Ivy
-
Thanks for the replies everyone!
@pixero/thomthom/pugz: This is a brilliant idea. This wont be first priority, but will look into it after bug fixes and the mac issues
@oxero/driven: Thank you! Will look at it and hope to release a fix later today (saturday)
@didier/dbalex/gaonirico: Looks like the textures isnt applied to the material... Are you using SU8 (im actually not sure if this is an requirement)? Mac Windows? Any console messages when you start a new model and then starts the plugin?
Thank you for your patience and coops everyone!
Peace

I'm using SU8 Pro on Windows XP and 7. No console message at startup.
Maybe there's a problem within the Pdn Materials class/module ?
Keep on the good work !
Regards -
Hi Pierreden. I am using SU8 on Windows 7. Not appears me messages of console when beginning.
-
same as the others: sketchup 8 and windows 7, Thanks for your work on this one, it's getting better and better!
-
I like how fast the plugin is already developing, thanks for the hard work.
Any reason Ivy keeps growing on all my unresolved design spots? Maybe a bug -
What a wonderful plugin! I always wanted to grow some ivy directly into SketchUp!!! Thank you Pierre!
I'm here to report strange behaviours too: when I call the Ivy menu, the SkIndigo material panel is opened too (sketchup to Indigo plugin). Also, as some others noted, I can't see any textures applied to the geometry.
I'm running on WinXP and SketchUp7.

Thank you Pierre!

Is it just me or does everyone have a problem with JPP now? When I delete the Ivy plugin then JPP works, with Ivy it hangs.
-
@Pierreden:
...when i select it from plugins sub-menu nothings appear(no menu) & selection(mouse left button) stops working ,and it can't be deactivate from plugins sub-menu.until i select a tool from toolbar..and then it makes it deactivate!
it's a complicated situation that i can't explain in better way ! -
It happens me the same thing that 66searcher. It can be a conflict with other plugins
-
Actually it's a combination of three plugins, e-onlumenrt.rb seems to mess with ivy, ivy and lumenrt mess with JPP, however if I remove lumenrt then ivy and JPP work.... strange.
-
@66searcher/gaonirico: Thats not good. Uploaded a new fix (0.5.1). test it out.
@solo: Thats very weird. The only thing i can think of is that LumenRT adds an observer to something. Checked out JPP's source and cant find any sheared namespaces or anything.... Any suggestions?
-
It's lumenrt that's the culptrit. no problems now that I deleted it.
I reported this to them on the e-on software beta forum.
-
I uninstalled the previous version and installed the update but follows without functioning
