He is modelling for a game eventually so he'd rather needs to keep poly count low. IMO this is what makes the whole thing even more interesting; to see how beautiful these works are while being disciplined and moderate with poly count.
-
Cool model.
-
Hey Marius, beautiful work mate! What are you rendering with? they are crisp renderings....
Epic champ!
-
Excellent work. I too like the clay renderings and was curious about the program used.
Do you have dimensioned plans for all of the parts?
-
Thanks guys, her poly count is at 38k now, Im using max10 to render at about 10-20 mins a render, I have Real life plans for many vessels which I have obtain through a friend who has an archive of them , Its a costly procedure scanning large pages into digital format though but well worth it in my book.
Some more bits added,Trying not to post to much but I just love doing these renders, cant seem to get bored of them
Prop Texture is Taken from the actuall prop of a fleetwood trawler like Navena -
So what program do you render in?
-
Hi Utiler, these renders are done in 3ds max 2010. Here are some 1600 x 1200 res images
Exterior is almost complete, few more small things to add ,bridge basic layout, helm and Engine Telegraph complete
