      SketchUp version: 8 PRO
      Operating system: OS X 10.6.6
My issue in detail: I have removed the VRAY DEMO via the uninstall button in the ASGVIS folder.
Since then, SU8 PRO crashes every time immediately when opening.
I have tried: restarting the mac, re-installing SU8-PRO, re-installing VRAY demo, .... nothing seems to help.
P.S. My SU 7 PRO version still works perfectly???

Urgent help would be much appreciated !
      Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this would have anything to do with it but, is there anything in the SketchUp Plugins folder related to VRAY? If so, you might try removing the file(s) and then try opening SU8 again.

Found a solution. Uninstall of sketchup needs to be more detailed than just dragging the app to the trash. Here's the link that explains the procedure in detail: http://sketchup.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=40937
