What makes your drawing run smoother to save a component and import it into your drawing later or simply import it directly into your drawing?

A component file that is inserted into a model, loses its relationship to the original file. If you change a component within a model, the file will not change unless you save the component to that file. If however the component is the model, when quiting, you will be given the option to update the file.
