Will SU 8 retain and be able to use my plug ins from 7?

Yes, with perhaps a few exceptions. Some plugins might have a new version available for you to download that fixes any upgrade glitches. So just copy them over and see what errors you get. Plus its not a bad idea to go through all your plugins and just verify you have the latest version available. Some plugins don't change for years, others change quite frequently. So sometimes its not bad to just check that you are current.

Thanks Chris. I have a lot of plug ins, though many I don't use, so this will give me a chance to clean up my plug ins.
This is the last bit of information I needed to decide to upgrade to 8.
