A problem with the Entity Info box

I am experiencing problems when using the Entity Info dialogue box to rename groups and components.
This is best illustrated with an example. Open up SU and draw two boxes. Make one a group, and then name it Box 1 using Entity Info. Make the other a component and name it Box 2. Go back to Box one, select it and then rename it Box 3, again using the Entity Info dialogue box. Now select Box 2 and try to change the DEFINITION NAME field to Box 4. I find that the text 'Box 3' appears in the NAME field, which is really annoying.
Am I the only one experiencing this apparent 'bug'?

Interesting but true, works the same way for me.
Maybe it is only a "courtesy" by the development to pre-fill the name field thinking that when you are in naming anyway, you may want to use similar names

Sort of like autocomplete, or just recalling last named.

Yes, but really annoying.
It would be nice if one could use Outliner to both 'identify in model'and rename without having to use the Entity Info box. Outliner needs a lot of work before its full potential is realised.
