This is a first export to proof a style I'm playing with. I was inspired by some drawings I saw this morning and thought I'd see if I could get a similar look in SketchUp. The line style is one I made combined with a found image of Kraft paper as both a background watermark and a material. The material needs a bit of adjustment but it came out fairly close to the images that inspired it.

It would probably be better to make a hidden line export on white and combine the images in PhotoShop or whatever. I'm just looking for ways to use straight SU exports to reduce post processing time. The only thing I did outside of SketchUp was crop the image.

The subject is a bookcase I drew up for a client.

      Thoughts?

I think it's pretty good, personally I'd 'wash-out' the paper a little... so the emphasis is more on the drawn lines... but then... πŸ˜‰

Thanks TIG. I was thinking it looked a little too light myself. I think the time needs to be changed so the light is coming from closer to the camera's viewpoint.

Hi - just ran your image through FotoSketcher using the Vintage Photo filter. Quite like the result!

              Hi John,

That is interesting. Not the look I was after but it is interesting nonetheless. Thank you.
