Is there a rubyscript that will apply folds to a flat surface such as a sawtooth profile

It looks as if you have identical "denticles". You must have constructed one, then multicopied the others along a straight line array. This is of course done with select one tooth, Ctrl+ Move one copy, then type into the VCB (value control box) x10 or whatever number to give multiple copies then Enter and boom, there they are. Those teeth could just as well be Sketchup UV sphere components or Sangs or Susans.
I suppose someone may have something like this in their personal script collection. There are a lot of people out there, and among those may be some who prefer not to share their scripts.
And since I have said this, it would not surprise me if someone posted with the solution even while I finish this message.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

Doesn't seem like something that needs a plugin since, as mitcorb has pointed out, it can be done easily with the native tools.

Thanks for your replies but I wish to treat multiple surfaces and some with holes cut and not all rectangular in shape

Maybe qwerky is trying to produce something that looks more like this (a 'folded surface'):

I believe qwerky is searching the elusive 3D siding plugin....one I'd love to find as well!

Thanks D12 that is what I am searching for and to apply it to a face as "Make Fur" is applied would be so useful.
