Cladding (Siding) plugin?

Looking for a cladding or siding plugin to apply to surfaces. Have tried Materials but would prefer more 3D style application. Too be used on architectural models for rendering. Thanks

And here is one "in action"(if you scroll down a bit) in a similar manner (using displacement). If you download it and rename the extension to zip, you can extract the image files (diffuse and displacement) used in the material. The displacement map can also be used as bump map if your renderer does not support displacement.

I use Vali Architects instant roof. It has a feature to add details to a roof. The slate option looks like cladding. The script requires you to rotate the wall like a roof before it will allow you to add it, but then I just tilt it back.
