Dual screens

Kris
Could you please explain that a bit more
What do you mean about a script problem and a blank google
Thanks Dean

A couple of suggestions
- upgrade your graphics card driver, if you have not already done so
- do not use any other system (such as the Nvidia NView) than the basic Windows one to manage your screens and desktop.
Anssi
-
what I mean is do a fresh install of SketchUp... and like Anssi said a up to date driver is paramount.
-
Thanks guys
I'll do what you suggest and let you know what happensCheers dean

Well i did both things and it still happens
I moved a simple shape and splat, and then when on the web some pictures were flickering
When in SU guide lines appear in infinity making it appear a shape is not filled in, and when you zoom into a guide line to pick the end it dissappears, very oddOne correction the card is a GTS 240 1gb
-
are you having any issues with any other 3D intensive program?
-
I've just downloaded podium 'I know not 3d' and so far all ok
Today I had no splats , but was only using small files
I'll keep you posted -
I'd try to start eliminating what causes the errors.
Turn off 'hardware acceleration' and see if that fixes it -- if it does it's likely the video card to blame.
If not try disconnecting the second monitor (hardware acc. can be back on if the first test founf the gpu to not be the problem).
After that ? -
I turned the accelerater off and still the same
Would running each monitor on its own card help?
I think another GTS 240 is about $100, or go for another card?
Cheers -

I reinstalled the keepers and I am back in business.
I did the same and life became a whole lot better
Now I do a test after I add any new ruby to see if my (or new) gremlins come back.
