Material estimations and lists

Hi,
I'm fairly new to the program. I was wondering if anyone knew of a plugin which could take my drawings and print material usage estimations and material lists. I work for a non profit in Bolivia doing carpentry work, so I need it to be able to estimate the materials for basic to advanced carpentry projects, ie. desks, tables, dressers, room cabinets. Any ideas???
