      Hi there all -

I'm having real problems exporting scene animations from a model I've created. I've followed the tutorials with some success and created several different versions of the model, omitting all that is not in shot for each version to slim the model right down.

However regardless of size, whilst some shots export okay , others either make the program crash with the response "Failed to make file dump - 183" or simply do nothing after I press the 'export' button. In most cases, I can't even export a 2D Image. What really confuses me is that this doesn't seem to be connected to the number of scenes involved - having successfully exported 700+ scenes from one relatively large version of the model, yet fail on a fly through of less than 300.

I have taken to making screen prints and saving them via photoshop, but with scenes running into the hundreds, this is driving me slowly mad. HELP!!!!

ps - I'm exporting at 1365 by 768 at 24 frames per second.

You said you were using 24 frames per second. Are you animating the view, or actual objects? If you are animating actual objects, what ruby script are you using? (don't worry, I've heard of them all here)

Also, if you want, I could do it for you if you post the .skp file.
