Mesh on downloaded models
-
Hello everyone,
I have been using sketchup of a few months now, and have problem with models that can be download. Is there a way of hiding their mesh without individually selecting the edges and hiding. I am aware that the mesh does not show up after a rendering, but when presenting on a sketchup level the colour of the model is overshadowed by the mesh and ends up seen as a black blob(
).
Suggestions are welcome.
Thank you.

You can turn off edge display under Window > Style > In model > Edit > Edge settings in general.
If you only want to hide edges in certain groups, edit the group, turn your face style into wireframe, select all the edges with a selection box (no triple clicking!) and hide.
Clode the group and turn your normal style on again. -
You can also select by right click on the mesh, and choose "Soften Edges".

Thank you,
for the quick reply. No more blobs.
