SU 8 materials issue

I downloaded SU8 last week today I used it some the sandbox works better than in SU7, at least on my machine, a good thing.
But the materials browser hangs up to a minute before it loads after clicking the icon, anyone else have this issue?
I am using vista home premium, on a fairly fast dual core machine. -

Is it when you right click on a material that is in your model through the material browser? I have always noticed some hang when I do that on the PC....

The paint bucket icon, that makes the material editor open, this morning su actually went non responsive, didn't crash completely but came close.

How many materials do you have?

Standard SU8 set plus some window glass, these and more worked in SU7
