This is an executive suite for a church project. I'm inspired by Ithil's recent post. Ithil's post OMG!WOW!UNBELIEVABLE!
Always wanted to do a wood interior like the office image and finaly got the chance. The design is still work in progresss on an existing space and includes a conference room, executive office, kitchenette and lobby.

Looks great so far. One thing that might help to add some life is to not make the chairs so uniform and rotate them even slightly. With the chair backs all being perfectly straight and the bases all facing the same way if give an artifical look.

This model has the potential to really sparkle! As it sits though it seems a bit dark
            & grainy.
What render program are you using?
            What preset if applicable?

The scenes have enough depth and reflective surfaces to
be interesting. I feel it just need a little boost.

                Thanks for the comments!

I modeled the shelves and molding in su. Most of the accessories are from formfonts.
I agree rotating the chairs would help to make the scence to be more dynamic.
                pmolson,
The post processing is where I really stuggle. I need practice in this area where photoshop and gimp can raise the images to a whole new level.
I need to either enhance with more lighting in kerky or enhance the levels in photoshop via layers and ovelays or a combination of both.
I need assistance in this area. I'm familiar with photoshop but my skills in photoshop are low 😞

                      Update of executive office-
My goal here is to make a photo real image of a traditional office primarily using daylight.
                      Things to add/change
-define more materials other than wood
                      -not sold on curtian material
                      -maybe include mask for exterior
-add lights in casework with orange glow
                      -place rug on floor
-rearrange and add variation to books
-remove curtain ties from window-may look better with curtians hanging straight at unavodable pocket

                      stats:
Modeled in Sketchup 7 Profile Builder.rb came in handy on the trim!
                      Rendered in Kerkythea
                      MLT (bpt) 60 passes

                      Suggestions welcomed,

                      Thanks,

BTW ,I apologizse for the image size. Kinda new at using this method of posting. I'll try to remember to post by 800X next time. Hope that fixes the problem.
                        The scolling thing is annoying.

You should increase the exposure in this...
Great scene - huge potential... πŸ‘
Let it cook longer to limit the grainy look...
I assume that using a sky-portal for this render will make it render much faster...
Hope you don't mind, but I just made a quick exposure adjustment in post pro...

                            Hi,
as a Ithil's post your work is awesome detailed. The room is appropriately furnished (with amenities). The design of room works superb in whole, only the floor doesn't match to this type of design concept. I would try some inlay marquetry flooring (as attached picture).
                            Superb work πŸ‘ πŸ‘ .

                              Thanks Jarynzlesa!

I totally agree with your comments. I would like to try a floor like this but I have no idea how to execute this with the images I find. Would it consist of more than one image with textures on different modelled surfaces? If someone can help here I would be greatly appreciative. Looking for the best method.
Still working lighting and other details. I would love to try another floor. I'll look into it.

                                No problem Kim, Thanks,
I would like to continue to pursue the skyportal render with only lighting from the sun. As you can see I gave up on it because it was too dark and I added lights. Would like to go back to it once I finish the one with the lights. Any pointers on how to achieve such a render welcomed. I'm sure it a combo of Kery and Photoshop.

BTW, how did you get the borders to show up aroung the image you post?

Model the floor - you can make your own design, it is advantage of these floors. Model(or draw, if you want) the floor like Ithil did it 😎 .
Render - you are getting better with the render (so far so good) πŸ‘ .
                                  I can't wait the final render πŸ˜‰ .

I have a question regarding your first post...
Are those spaces all in the same building???
They look so very different from each other! Can you show something to show the context? Like, why is that conference room so oddly shaped? (I know it's probably a given, but I'm curious)

btw I liked the way you put their dove-logo in the woodwork... why is it gone in later stages?

also; with these kind of images it's nice to have a big one, to be able to see all the detail you put into it. but when clicking on it, it takes me to a site where a same size image is...

                                      To Pyroluna,
Thanks for the comments, All are on one floor in the same building. It's the executive suite referred to as the "obama" suite πŸ˜† . I struggled a little with the different styles with the conference rm and lobby being contempo and the office traditional. And yes the plan was a given oddity. I had it in a more conventional shape until the architect on record decide to change it with other modifications to the plan. The dove remains. The images are just out of order. How can I post larger images using imgur w/o messing up the su board?

Surely each of the squares is just a face with the jpeg textures made to fit the face. Dont think there is any other way.
